About the Role

Cleveland Clinic London is seeking a Senior II Rotational Radiographer to join their Imaging Team. Responsibilities

  • Monitors, evaluates, and reports on departmental operations.
  • Acts as a liaison internally and externally.
  • Maintains professional and legal responsibility for all aspects of practice, adhering to national legislation, policies, Code of Conduct, and professional guidelines.
  • Maintains a work environment that fosters quality care, accountability, and employee satisfaction.
  • Assists in the development of clinical practice, standards of care, policies, procedures, protocols, guidelines, and audits.
  • Provides direct patient care in specialty areas.
  • Demonstrates flexibility in working hours, including shifts, extended days, and on-call rotations.
  • Undertakes relevant training and competency assessments, adhering to agreed protocols and procedures.
  • Supplies medicines using Patient Group Directions under indirect supervision, understanding clinical hazards and emergencies.
  • Adheres to appropriate Health & Safety guidelines and regulations.
  • Ensures compliance with Care Quality Commission regulations for Imaging.
  • Undertakes basic patient observations, recognizes deteriorating patients, and manages them appropriately.
  • Uses good radiographic techniques and modifies them as clinically appropriate.
  • Manipulates a range of equipment, maintaining patient comfort and communicating effectively for safe patient positioning.
  • Uses appropriate touch techniques to locate external bony landmarks.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Rotates across outpatient facilities.

Requirements

  • BSc(Hons) Radiography, DCR(D) Diploma of the College of Radiographers or equivalent required.
  • Current valid Healthcare Professional Council (HCPC) registration required.
  • Trained to cannulate and administer contrast agents required.
  • Understanding of radiographic equipment for both ionising and non-ionising radiation imaging methods, and image sharing/storage required.
  • Experience within at least two of the modalities within the rotation (CT, Xray) required.
  • Must be able to demonstrate IT competency required.
  • Role may be subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
