About the Role
As a Business Analyst, you will translate intricate institutional loan market workflows into innovative, scalable software products. This role is for a structured, detail-obsessed individual who excels at transforming ambiguous financial processes into executable development plans.
Responsibilities
- Synthesize complex inputs into granular, testable functional specifications and clear acceptance criteria.
- Author comprehensive functional design documents for engineering execution and product documentation.
- Establish testing frameworks, translate use cases into test plans, execute testing, and manage defect triage.
- Partner with product design teams to develop wireframes and mockups for user interfaces.
- Participate in client workshops and support calls, communicating in the client's domain language.
- Utilize AI productivity tools to accelerate the generation of specifications, documentation, and test cases.
Requirements
- Approximately 4–5 years of experience owning product requirements through the full testing lifecycle.
- Proficiency in requirements elicitation, validation, gap analysis, requirements traceability, functional specification writing, and UAT planning/defect triage.
- Fluency leveraging AI tools to optimize documentation and testing workflows, with editorial judgment to refine AI-generated content.
- Exceptional attention to detail, strong ownership mindset in fast-paced or ambiguous environments, and rapid cognitive ramp-up time.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with sophisticated financial services clients.
- Experience with modern productivity and product management tools such as Linear, Notion, Figma, Slack, GSuite, PowerPoint, and process-mapping software.
- Experience with traditional enterprise suites (Jira, Confluence, Microsoft) is also highly valued.
- Experience within Big Four advisory firms, Accenture, boutique digital transformation consulting, implementation professional services, or internal corporate transformation teams is preferred.
- Exposure to institutional loan markets, private credit, broadly syndicated loans, credit operations, loan administration, settlement, or closing processes is advantageous.
