About the Role

Serve as a Field Service Engineer, performing maintenance and installation of cutting-edge scientific instruments like electron microscopes, X-ray photoelectron spectrometers, and electrical failure analysis devices. Support customers in materials science and electronic device research and development.

Responsibilities

  • Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting for electron microscopes, X-ray photoelectron spectrometers, and electrical failure analysis devices.
  • Replace consumables and address software and hardware issues to ensure optimal instrument performance.
  • Plan and execute the installation of new scientific instruments, including specification review and on-site layout planning with sales teams.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve technical issues.
  • Collaborate with team members on large-scale projects.
  • Participate in training programs to develop expertise.

Requirements

  • University, college of technology, or vocational school graduate.
  • Background in science/engineering.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical/electronic and mechanical engineering.
  • Ability to connect equipment to networks and operate PCs.
  • Willingness to learn technical English, as product manuals are in English.
  • Experience in service engineering (any product) is preferred.
  • Experience with physicochemical or analytical instruments is preferred.
  • Experience in the semiconductor and semiconductor manufacturing equipment industry is preferred.
  • Comfortable with English and eager to learn.
