About the Role
Join the digital consumer banking team at JPMorganChase in Berlin to help build innovative retail banking products. This role focuses on reviewing unusual activity cases, ensuring investigation quality, and managing risk through the submission of Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) in a fast-paced, start-up-like environment.
Responsibilities
- Review fraud and financial crime investigation cases for accuracy and adherence to standards
- File Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) when reporting thresholds are met
- Coordinate communication with authorities such as the Financial Intelligence Unit and other banks
- Triage new unusual activity referrals by reviewing account information and transaction data
- Apply risk-mitigating actions and escalate issues as needed
- Manage workload and deadlines while escalating key risks to management
- Maintain awareness of regulatory changes and incorporate updates into daily work
- Share insights and case learnings with investigation teams
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and controls
- Provide subject matter expertise for process and technology initiatives
- Build partnerships across stakeholders and strengthen cross-functional collaboration
