About the Role

Lead AI Agent development lifecycle end-to-end, shaping AI engineering standards and driving technical delivery from discovery and experimentation through design, build, and reliable production operations. Build scalable, secure, maintainable full-stack agentic solutions and contribute to AI Agent and Agentic Platform strategy, focusing on AIOps/DevSecOps, AI observability, evaluation, reliability, resilience, and proactive cost management. Collaborate with product, design, SMEs, and engineers to align on shared frameworks, deliver reusable capabilities, and uplift engineering practices.

Responsibilities

  • Leading end-to-end AI agent development from discovery through to reliable production outcomes
  • Setting and uplifting AI engineering standards, practices and ways of working across squads
  • Driving secure, scalable and observable AI-native solutions that perform in production
  • Partnering closely with product, design and business stakeholders to solve meaningful problems
  • Supporting and mentoring engineers to build capability, confidence and engineering excellence
  • Championing reuse, shared platforms and frameworks to accelerate delivery and consistency

Requirements

  • 10+ years’ cloud-native full-stack experience (React/Next.js; TypeScript/Python)
  • Hands-on AI engineering (RAG, LLM agent orchestration using frameworks such as LangChain/CrewAI/LangGraph; vector databases; evaluation and grounding)
  • Strong AWS and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., ECS/Lambda/Terraform)
  • Mature CI/CD, security automation, and quality engineering (e.g., GitHub Actions/GitLab CI, LaunchDarkly, Playwright, Langfuse/Dynatrace)
  • Extensive experience leading full stack engineering in cloud-native environments
  • Proven hands-on experience building and running AI or agentic systems in production
  • Strong capability across modern AI engineering, including orchestration, evaluation and observability
  • Deep experience with DevSecOps, CI/CD and production ownership in regulated environments
  • Solid cloud engineering experience, ideally across AWS and infrastructure as code
  • Experience working in product-led, agile teams delivering customer-focused outcomes
  • Experience in insurance or other regulated industries is a plus
