Responsibilities

  • Provide installation, inspection, repair, and maintenance services for large medical equipment.
  • Offer pre-installation checks, installation, periodic inspections, repairs, and software upgrades to customers.
  • Respond to technical inquiries from customers.
  • Support service preparation for new market introductions.
  • Manage service operations, including installation information, complaint information, maintenance parts, and measurement equipment.
  • Support sales demonstrations and customer training, including demo unit maintenance.
  • Collaborate with related departments.
  • Promote maintenance service contracts.
  • Communicate with overseas manufacturers and participate in overseas training.
  • Ensure compliance with laws and regulations (Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Act, related laws, repair business, QMS).

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Field Service Engineer in the medical device industry, or 3 years of practical experience as a clinical engineer or nurse.
  • TOEIC score of 600 or higher (comfortable communicating in English).
  • Understanding of maintenance and repair for medical devices.
  • Basic understanding of the Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Act and related regulations.
  • Ability to read English manuals.
  • Experience working with overseas counterparts.
  • PC skills necessary for document creation using MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, including overnight stays.
  • Ability to work nights and holidays.
  • Flexibility to relocate domestically according to business expansion.
  • Project management skills.
  • Effective communication skills (Japanese and English).
