About the Role

As a key part of our IT Operations team, you will maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize our high-performance, low-latency infrastructure. This role focuses on ensuring the resilience and security of systems located at global exchanges, running on enterprise bare-metal hardware, FPGA-accelerated components, and low-latency network architectures. You'll work directly on infrastructure where nanosecond-level latency decisions have real financial consequences.

Responsibilities

Support, tune, and optimize RHEL systems running on bare-metal hardware and hypervisors for low-latency, high-performance execution.
Maintain highly available routing and multicast environments using BGP, OSPF, PIM, and IGMP, with hands-on experience across colocation and on-prem switching and connectivity.
Design and implement security controls and disaster recovery procedures for mission-critical financial infrastructure, with direct input into risk and architecture decisions.
Lead maintenance windows and operational upgrades, coordinating across internal teams and external exchanges and colocation providers under time-sensitive conditions.
Improve our configuration management, observability, and operational tooling (Ansible, Zabbix, Python).

Requirements

5+ years in a similar role.
Experience and precision in complex environments.
Spot operational issues before they escalate and actively hunt for improvements.
Detail-oriented with strong reasoning skills, allowing you to think several steps ahead.
Respond quickly and confidently to incidents, staying composed under pressure and making sound decisions fast.
Substantial experience (typically 5+ years) delivering precision and stability within complex, mission-critical infrastructure environments.
