About the Role
Qoo10 is seeking a talented individual to drive the growth of its beauty category. This role involves a wide range of responsibilities, including product listings, sales promotions, and advertising proposals for cosmetic item sellers. You will be responsible for expanding Qoo10's product selection and increasing sales and advertising revenue within the beauty category. This position also includes new business development for Qoo10 merchants. You will act as a "hit product creator," staying abreast of cosmetic trends and developing sales strategies with sellers. Each sales representative will manage promotion and sales activities for their client sellers on a one-stop basis.
Responsibilities
- Sales support, product planning, and advertising proposals for existing sellers
- New merchant acquisition (online shops, retail companies, wholesalers, manufacturers, etc. - sales targets are domestic manufacturers and stores)
- Propose advertisements to sellers offering a wide variety of cosmetic items
- Promote the expansion of Qoo10's product lineup and increase sales/advertising revenue in the cosmetics category
- Develop sales strategies with sellers by staying informed about cosmetic trends
Requirements
- Over 2 years of full-time employment experience
- Experience in sales (new or existing, any industry)
- Experience in the cosmetics industry (sales experience at cosmetic retailers, such as store manager level, is desirable, but negotiable)
- Native Japanese proficiency
- Experience using Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
