About the Role
Kyndryl is seeking a passionate and driven IT/Cloud Consultant to join our team and break out of the hierarchy to rewrite the rules for what comes next. In this role, you will be at the forefront of strategic decision-making, defining sourcing strategies, and selecting providers that align with our customers’ IT and automation strategies. You will be the trusted advisor, accountable for delivering highly complex, multi-disciplined consulting engagements that provide lasting and measurable value to our esteemed customers.
Responsibilities
- Define end-to-end migration strategy and execution model
- Design target GKE architecture, namespaces, and deployment patterns
- Establish standardized patterns for containerization, security, and configuration
- Define migration waves, sequencing, and dependency management
- Provide technical oversight across all migration phases
- Review and approve architecture, deployment patterns, and solutions
- Identify and mitigate architectural and technical risks
- Collaborate with DevOps, Security, and Application teams for alignment
Requirements
- 7–10 years of experience in cloud architecture and application modernization
- Strong expertise in Kubernetes (GKE), containerization, and microservices
- Experience with WebSphere, Java modernization, and cloud migration programs
- Strong knowledge of networking, security, and DevOps integration patterns
- Experience designing CI/CD pipelines, Helm-based deployments, and cloud-native architectures
- Ability to lead design workshops and stakeholder engagements
