About the Role

Optiver is seeking an experienced Recruitment Operations Specialist to enhance recruitment processes, systems, and operational efficiency. This role involves strategic problem-solving in a fast-paced environment, partnering with regional and global teams to support hiring and drive operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Drive improvements in day-to-day recruitment operations, processes, and technologies to support end-to-end talent acquisition strategy.
  • Streamline workflows and enhance efficiency by partnering with the People Analytics team to improve reporting, data analysis, and decision-making.
  • Dive into day-to-day recruitment operations to troubleshoot issues, manage escalations, and ensure operational excellence.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and digitisation to reduce manual tasks and accelerate recruitment processes.
  • Collaborate with recruiting operations counterparts in Europe and the US to deploy new regional and global tools, processes, and technologies.
  • Partner with APAC Recruitment leads to identify and deliver operational improvement initiatives.
  • Work closely with People stakeholders to ensure recruitment operations align with broader organisational objectives.
  • Collaborate with HR and other internal teams to ensure a seamless candidate journey from recruitment to onboarding.
  • Oversee recruitment risk and control frameworks, working with the Operational Risk Management team to ensure compliance.
  • Perform regular audits of the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to maintain accuracy, functionality, and user satisfaction.
  • Enhance and maintain documentation that supports recruitment processes and improves team efficiency.
  • Train recruitment team members and relevant stakeholders on new tools, processes, and system functionalities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 4+ years of experience in recruitment operations, talent operations, HR operations or a similar operational role.
  • Experience managing Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS, Greenhouse preferred) and other recruiting technologies.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment technologies and best practices.
  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills, particularly Excel.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable operating both strategically and tactically.
  • Proven ability to drive improvement in processes.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Experience handling competing priorities and working in a challenging, fast-paced environment.
