About the Role
Ambience is seeking a Staff Product Designer to lead and accelerate the end-to-end user experience for their Clinical AI products. This role involves driving key product initiatives from conception to launch, collaborating closely with engineering, product, clinical experts, and customers.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end product design for high-priority features, from sketches to shipped experiences.
- Deeply understand users, especially clinicians, through research, shadowing, and feedback.
- Drive clarity by partnering with PMs, engineers, and clinical AI research teams to shape the roadmap and translate complex workflows into intuitive UX.
- Build scalable design systems for rapid prototyping without sacrificing quality or consistency.
- Mentor designers and influence culture by integrating design thinking into product strategy, critiques, and postmortems.
- Act as an owner by improving cross-functional tooling and contributing to front-end polish to deliver great outcomes.
Requirements
- Thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and take initiative.
- Shipped high-impact product design work in technically complex B2B SaaS domains.
- Fluent across the full design stack: research, UX, UI, prototyping, and systems.
- Communicate clearly with technical and non-technical partners.
- Obsess over user experience, particularly for high-stakes, high-friction workflows.
- Operate with speed, experimentation, and a bias toward action.
