About the Role
In this dynamic role, the successful candidate will be exposed to and provide service to many functional areas of the dealer’s front, middle, and back-office operations. Key responsibilities include supporting the fund operations team with audit, money moves, and pricing reviews, in addition to other day-to-day duties as assigned and managing dealer relationships. Reporting directly to our Director of Investment Funds Management (IFM), the successful candidate will assist in the development of the IFM and UMA (Unified Managed Account) platform and act as a liaison with third-party service providers and Aligned Capital Partner advisors and portfolio managers.
Responsibilities
- Manage money moves related to fund custody accounts
- Handle trade cancellations, corrections, and backdates
- Review and reconcile daily, weekly, and monthly fund prices provided by our third-party fund administrator
- Assist with quarterly compliance reporting and reviews
- Manage fund audits and regulatory filings for IIROC and the OSC
- Acquire a thorough understanding of the many functional areas of Dealer operations, with the goal of being an active member in evolving internal platforms
- Provide reporting to various team members and functional units within the organization
- Liaise with third-party fund managers, service providers, and internal teams, advisors, and portfolio managers
- Own and action inquiries in a timely manner
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in the investment industry or related field
- Proficiency in Excel
- Excellent organization and communication skills
- Initiative and the ability to work independently within an overarching team structure

- $42,500 to $71,000
