About the Role

AEG is seeking dedicated individuals to join their team in transforming sports and live entertainment. This is an opportunity to be challenged and make a difference in a dynamic industry.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary provider of direct services to guests.
  • Provide a safe environment for all guests.
  • Answer guest questions and direct guests to important areas.
  • Operate coat check rooms.
  • Scan tickets for entry and administer applicable wristbands.
  • Greet guests and resolve complaints, escalating concerns as necessary.
  • Monitor guest conduct to ensure a safe and secure environment.
  • Monitor alcohol consumption for responsible service.
  • Seat guests and assist ADA patrons.
  • Enforce all policies and procedures of the venue.
  • Complete company and venue required trainings.
  • Participate in employee meetings.
  • Act as a member of the emergency evacuation team.
  • Monitor venue during guest arrival and exit for safety regulations.
  • Assist guests with directional and informational inquiries.
  • Communicate in a professional manner with staff, clients, and guests.
  • Accommodate guests with disabilities.
  • Maintain a calm and attentive demeanor when rectifying issues.
  • Check and scan guest tickets upon entry.
  • Review guest tickets to direct them to the appropriate area.
  • Control access points to prevent unauthorized entries.
  • Report activities or behaviors that conflict with policy.
  • Supervise usher staff and daily operations.
  • Attend supervisor meetings.
  • Prepare and conduct Pep Rallies and pre/post show briefings.
  • Respond to and problem solve guest complaints and/or concerns.
  • Monitor and report all policies and procedures violations.
  • Conduct progressive employee counseling.
  • Respond to and manage guest behavior issues.
  • Communicate with Security base via radio.
  • Problem-solve guest ticketing problems.
  • Communicate via radio with the box office for assistance.
  • Assist in relocation of guests with special needs.
  • Communicate via radio within the department and with other departments.
  • Monitor uniform inventory and supervise uniform issue.

Requirements

  • A minimum education level of: High School Diploma or its equivalency
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of related work experience (Guest Services Staff)
  • Ability to work in varying conditions
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. without assistance
  • Positive attitude with superior customer service skills
  • Ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs for long periods of time
  • A minimum of 0-1 years of related work experience (Usher/Ticket Taker)
  • Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Exemplify a strong commitment and willingness to provide excellent customer service
  • Maintain a neat, clean and professional appearance
  • Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Sound judgement; able to make sound decisions
  • A minimum of 4 years of related work experience (Usher Supervisor)
  • A minimum of 4 years work experience as an usher (Usher Supervisor)
