About the Role

Zip is seeking a Solutions Architect to establish the technical backbone of its ERP and integration ecosystem. This role emphasizes internal technical enablement, designing optimal solutions within complex customer environments, collaborating with Product teams, and setting high standards for all Zip integration workflows, with a particular focus on the Oracle EBS R12 system.

Responsibilities

• Design, maintain, and iterate on Zip-owned ERP and integration templates.
• Architect and standardize Oracle R12 integrations.
• Align integration templates with core product architecture, field insights, and customer needs.
• Analyze complex customer implementations to create standardized internal assets.
• Support pre-sales engineering by designing and vetting integration architectures.
• Define, document, and champion technical solution consulting best practices.
• Develop expertise across multiple ERP ecosystems, becoming a subject matter expert on integration architecture, data models, and Zip’s App Studio.
• Design and execute technical solutions with an engineering mindset for scalability and efficiency.
• Configure APIs and modify templates as needed.

Requirements

• 6+ years of hands-on experience delivering integrations with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12 environments.
• Strong foundational knowledge of core Oracle EBS business processes, schema layouts, and data models, specifically within Oracle Purchasing (PO), Payables (AP), and General Ledger (GL).
• Familiarity with standard Oracle EBS integration methods, including Open Interface Tables, Public APIs/PL-SQL Packages, Oracle Integrated SOA Gateway (ISG), and REST/SOAP services.
• Experience working with XML / REST based endpoints and standard authentication protocols.
• Past ERP implementation, integration, configuration or administration experience is required.
• Ability to translate highly technical information for audiences with varying degrees of technical knowledge.
• Comfortable working with API documentation.
• Comfortable testing and troubleshooting integration errors.
• Able to understand customer requirements and document that information quickly, with little oversight.
• A continual learner and open to learning new technologies.
• Strong communication skills.
• Extreme attention to detail and proactive approach.
• Experience working with product and engineering teams.
• Process-driven with a strong bias toward continuous improvement.
