About the Role

Zip is seeking a Solutions Architect to build the technical foundation for its ERP and integration ecosystem. This role focuses on internal technical enablement, architecting solutions for complex customer environments, collaborating with Product teams, and establishing best-in-class standards for integration workflows, particularly within the PeopleSoft ecosystem. The architect will create reusable integration assets and define how the Zip product interacts with external systems.

Responsibilities

  • Design, maintain, and iterate on Zip-owned ERP and integration templates.
  • Architect and standardize PeopleSoft integrations.
  • Align integration templates with core product architecture, field insights, and customer needs.
  • Analyze complex customer implementations to create standardized internal assets.
  • Partner with account teams to design and vet integration architectures during pre-sales.
  • Define, document, and champion technical solution consulting best practices.
  • Build expertise across multiple ERP ecosystems, focusing on integration architecture, data models, and Zip's App Studio.
  • Design and execute solutions with an engineering mindset for scalability and efficiency.
  • Dive into API configurations and template modifications as needed.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of hands-on experience delivering integrations within PeopleSoft environments.
  • Strong foundational knowledge of PeopleSoft Financials and Supply Chain Management (FSCM) business processes and data tables, specifically within Purchasing (PO), Payables (AP), and eProcurement.
  • Familiarity with standard PeopleSoft integration architecture, including Integration Broker (IB), Component Interfaces (CI), Application Engine, and File Layouts.
  • Experience working with XML / REST based endpoints and standard authentication protocols.
  • Past ERP implementation, integration, configuration or administration experience is required.
  • Ability to translate highly technical information for audiences with varying degrees of technical knowledge.
  • Comfortable working with API documentation.
  • Comfortable testing and troubleshooting integration errors.
  • Able to understand customer requirements and document that information quickly, with little oversight.
  • A continual learner and open to learning new technologies.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Extreme attention to detail and proactive approach.
  • Experience working with product and engineering teams.
  • Process-driven with a strong bias toward continuous improvement.
