About the Role

DigitalOcean is seeking a Principal Product Manager for Agentic AI Infrastructure to define and own the product strategy for a new generation of managed agent infrastructure products. This role will shape products like Open Harness Server, Code Execution Sandbox, and Action Gateway, simplifying how developers run, scale, secure, and operate agents in the cloud. This is a unique opportunity to define a new product category and build the essential infrastructure layer for agent-native companies.

Responsibilities

Define the Agentic AI infrastructure product strategy, including vision, roadmap, and execution plan.
Lead product definition for foundational agent infrastructure services such as Open Harness Server, Code Execution Sandbox, and Action Gateway.
Collaborate with agent-native customers to understand their infrastructure needs for moving from prototype to production.
Define product experiences that simplify complex agent workloads for developers.
Shape the developer experience through intuitive APIs, CLIs, documentation, and examples.
Partner with engineering on architecture and tradeoffs, translating customer needs into product requirements.
Launch new products and SKUs by defining packaging, pricing, beta programs, and launch plans.
Drive operational and business outcomes by establishing key product metrics.
Evangelize the agentic AI infrastructure category and its benefits for developers.

Requirements

Strong product leadership experience in infrastructure or developer platforms.
Experience building cloud infrastructure, developer tools, ML platforms, runtime systems, workflow engines, security products, or API-first platforms.
Fluency in agentic AI systems, including tool usage, code execution, context management, and session operations.
Technical depth in cloud primitives such as containers, MicroVMs, sandboxing, IAM, stateful workloads, distributed systems, observability, and secure execution environments.
Customer-backed product instincts with the ability to translate ambiguous feedback into clear product direction.
Strong systems thinking across user experience, platform architecture, security, reliability, pricing, and operational complexity.
Developer empathy, understanding the need for simple APIs, clear mental models, fast onboarding, and trustworthy documentation.
Business judgment to connect product investments to revenue, adoption, margin, and long-term strategy.
Executive communication and influence skills to align diverse stakeholders.
Category-building mindset, comfortable operating in an emerging market.
