About the Role
DigitalOcean is seeking a Principal Product Manager for Agentic AI Infrastructure to define and own the product strategy for a new generation of managed agent infrastructure. This role will shape products that enable developers to run, scale, secure, and operate agents in the cloud, helping to define a new product category at the company.
Responsibilities
- Define the product vision, roadmap, and execution plan for managed agent infrastructure products.
- Lead product definition for services including Open Harness Server, Code Execution Sandbox, and Action Gateway.
- Partner with agent-native companies to understand infrastructure requirements for moving from prototype to production.
- Create simple abstractions for complex workloads like long-lived agents and secure code execution.
- Shape developer experience through intuitive APIs, CLIs, documentation, and workflows.
- Collaborate with engineering on architecture and tradeoffs regarding MicroVMs, sandboxing, and observability.
- Partner with GTM, finance, and engineering to define packaging, pricing, and launch plans.
- Establish product metrics for adoption, retention, reliability, and revenue growth.
- Evangelize the category and explain the need for a new infrastructure layer for agents.
Requirements
- Strong product leadership experience in infrastructure or developer platforms.
- Fluency in agentic AI systems, including tool usage and long-running sessions.
- Technical depth in cloud primitives such as containers, MicroVMs, and distributed systems.
- Ability to translate ambiguous customer feedback into clear product direction.
- Strong systems thinking across user experience, architecture, and security.
- Developer empathy with a focus on simple APIs and fast onboarding.
- Business judgment connecting product investments to revenue and strategy.
- Executive communication and influence skills across cross-functional stakeholders.
- Category-building mindset for operating in emerging markets.
