About the Role

Reporting to the Executive Sous Chef, this full-time Sous Chef will oversee daily operations in a high-volume production kitchen and manage the stewarding team for the internal dining area. The role involves leading a culinary team, ensuring operational success, and maintaining Crown's standards and policies. Accountable for business objectives, operational excellence, financial targets, and quality consistency.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the kitchen and staff dining area operate as a successful outlet.
  • Organise, direct, and control production and administration in line with Crown’s standards and policies.

Requirements

  • Experience in a production kitchen with exposure to high volume.
  • Ability to set a leading example and inspire a team of kitchen professionals.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and satisfy internal and external stakeholder needs.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
