About the Role
Zip is seeking a Solutions Architect to build the technical foundation for its ERP and integration ecosystem. This role involves internal technical enablement, architecting solutions for complex customer environments, collaborating with Product teams, and establishing best-in-class standards for integration workflows, with a focus on the Jaggaer ecosystem. The architect will create reusable integration assets and define how Zip interacts with external systems.
Responsibilities
- Design, maintain, and iterate on Zip-owned ERP and integration templates.
- Architect and standardize Jaggaer integrations, ensuring scalable and robust customer implementations.
- Align integration templates with core product architecture, field insights, and customer needs.
- Analyze complex customer implementations to create standardized internal assets from bespoke solutions.
- Partner with account teams to design and vet integration architectures during pre-sales.
- Define, document, and champion technical solution consulting best practices.
- Build expertise across multiple ERP ecosystems, becoming a subject matter expert on integration architecture and data models.
- Design and execute technical solutions with an engineering mindset for scalable, effortless future implementations.
- Dive into API configurations and template modifications as needed.
Requirements
- 6+ years of hands-on experience delivering integrations with Jaggaer or similar enterprise procurement and spend management platforms.
- Strong foundational knowledge of core Jaggaer business processes, workflow logic, and data models (eProcurement, Invoicing, Supplier Management, CLM).
- Familiarity with standard Jaggaer integration methods (REST/SOAP APIs, direct data transfers, standard e-procurement data structures).
- Experience working with cXML/XML/REST based endpoints and standard authentication protocols.
- Past ERP implementation, integration, configuration, or administration experience is required.
- Ability to translate highly technical information for diverse audiences.
- Comfortable working with API documentation.
- Comfortable testing and troubleshooting integration errors.
- Able to understand customer requirements and document information quickly with little oversight.
- A continual learner, open to new technologies.
