About the Role
As a Senior Risk & Data Analyst, you will drive data-powered decision-making to advance loss control, underwriting, pricing, and portfolio management strategies for vehicle service contracts, GAP, and ancillary products. You will play a key role in identifying profitability opportunities and leveraging AI to streamline operational workflows within a collaborative and innovative environment.
Responsibilities
- Analyze portfolio performance across products to identify trends, loss drivers, and profitability opportunities.
- Develop and monitor KPIs related to loss ratios, frequency/severity trends, and reserve adequacy.
- Conduct deep-dive analyses on claims trends, inflation impacts, and emerging risk patterns.
- Provide recommendations to leadership on reserves, underwriting guidelines, and program structure.
- Lead quarterly and annual business reviews with data-driven insights.
- Design and automate reporting solutions to improve visibility into underwriting and claims performance.
- Contribute to dashboards and analytical tools using Excel, BI tools, and Salesforce.
- Standardize reporting frameworks to ensure consistency and audit-readiness.
- Partner with IT to enhance data structures, data quality, and system capabilities.
- Identify opportunities to leverage AI, automation, and advanced analytics to improve underwriting and reporting workflows.
- Assist in implementing tools or models that streamline decision-making.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to incorporate AI-driven insights into operational processes.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, scalability, and accuracy.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in underwriting, risk analytics, actuarial support, or financial analysis.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Intermediate level of English proficiency.
- Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. without sponsorship.
