About the Role

Choice Properties is seeking a Manager, Enterprise Data Solutions, a self-starter and strategic thinker with a service-oriented attitude to drive continuous improvement in services and performance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and delivery of data and reporting solutions, remaining hands-on with data modeling, semantic layers, dashboards, and analytics.
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions by partnering closely with business stakeholders.
  • Manage data solutions as enterprise products, driving report and dashboard rationalization, lifecycle management, certification, and usage monitoring.
  • Lead, support, and oversee contractors and vendor resources by setting priorities, providing technical guidance, and reviewing deliverables.
  • Partner with IT and Application teams to align reporting and governance initiatives with data platform strategy, cloud architecture, and enterprise standards.
  • Implement and operationalize data governance frameworks, including metadata management, data quality rules, lineage, cataloging, and stewardship processes.
  • Enforce data governance, privacy, and compliance policies in collaboration with Data Governance Councils and Security teams.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve data accuracy, consistency, and decision intelligence.
  • Present technical solutions, governance initiatives, and insights into IT and business leadership.
  • Deliver training, promote data literacy, and be responsible for data usage across the organization.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Data and Analytics, Business Intelligence, Data Governance.
  • At least 2+ years in managing technical roles.
  • Strong hands-on Microsoft Power BI experience designing and delivering Business Intelligence solutions.
  • Demonstrated understanding of dimensional modeling concepts, including Star Schema, facts, dimensions, and KPI design.
  • Proven experience implementing data governance concepts such as data quality, metadata management, lineage, and stewardship.
  • Comprehensive understanding of data governance, data privacy, security, and data platform concepts.
  • Familiarity with modern data platforms such as Snowflake and knowledge of modern concepts such as Lakehouse architecture.
  • Ability to engage senior business stakeholders, gather requirements, and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex data topics to non-technical audiences.
  • A self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to lead and direct others in a team environment.
  • Experience in REIT, Real Estate, or asset-intensive industries is a plus.
  • Curiosity and interest in advanced analytics, AI-assisted reporting, automation, or emerging BI and data governance capabilities is a plus.
  • Exposure to decision intelligence, self-service analytics governance, or analytics product management practices is a plus.

Salary/Compensations

  • $89,460.00 - $123,007.50
