About the Role

We’re looking for a National Account Manager II who can blend business acumen with a passion for play. This role requires a detail-oriented individual skilled in developing business plans, maximizing opportunities, and achieving profitability goals. The ideal candidate will excel at building long-term relationships and exceeding customer expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Developing bi-annual business plans that align with company goals and customer needs.
  • Delivering product presentations, business proposals, and ad plans to customers.
  • Understanding customer timelines and proactively providing necessary information and materials.
  • Ensuring timely and accurate setup of new items and maintenance of existing items.
  • Collaborating with the support team to develop and update forecasts based on market realities.
  • Reviewing actual performance to ensure goals are met and adjusting plans as needed.
  • Managing client-specific budgets.
  • Analyzing sell-through data and market intelligence to optimize business opportunities and mitigate risks.
  • Communicating clearly and efficiently with customers, providing prompt solutions to challenges.
  • Working effectively with team members to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Providing feedback and coaching to team members within a team environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Business or Marketing.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in major account management within the consumer goods industry, ideally the toy industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and growing market share.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make strategic decisions.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize key business activities.
  • Strong communication skills, particularly in negotiation and presentations.
  • Ability to adapt and succeed in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
