About the Role
The Senior Director of Agentic Client Operations owns the design and delivery of AI-powered workflows across a client account, combining technical depth with strategic planning, client communication, and cross-functional team leadership. This role is for a builder ready to lead live production systems, manage a team, and represent RVGT's strategy directly with client stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Own the design, deployment, and ongoing operation of AI-powered workflows across assigned client workstreams.
- Translate strategic objectives into scalable, production-grade system designs spanning multi-step automated workflows, API integrations, LLM-powered decisioning and RAG systems.
- Establish and iterate on evaluation and monitoring frameworks, including accuracy, latency, cost optimization, reliability, fallback logic, and observability.
- Operate with agility, continuously pivoting and refining systems as new data, model capabilities, and business needs emerge.
- Lead workstream strategy for your client account, defining roadmaps, pressure-testing with data, and owning delivery from concept through optimization.
- Partner with the VP to translate client business objectives into structured, executable system designs and workflow plans.
- Build business cases for new capabilities and initiatives, tying recommendations to quantifiable KPIs and P&L outcomes.
- Leverage SQL, BI tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI), and Python to understand user behavior, system performance, and business outcomes.
- Define and manage KPIs tied to acquisition, engagement, retention, and revenue.
- Translate complex system performance into clear business narratives for VP and client stakeholders.
- Serve as a trusted point of contact for client stakeholders on system design, roadmap progress, and performance outcomes.
- Communicate complex agentic architectures and operational decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Support VP-level client relationships by preparing briefings, executive summaries, and strategic recommendations.
- Lead and develop a team of Directors, Analysts, and Operators across the client team.
- Operate across cross-functional groups, including agentic workforce, data science/AI, compliance, creative, and engineering, driving coordination and accountability.
- Foster a culture of ownership, rigor, and continuous improvement within the team.
- Identify opportunities to expand client engagements through AI-driven transformation.
- Support RVGT's broader business development efforts by contributing agentic expertise, case studies, and performance data to proposal and renewal efforts.
Requirements
- 7–10 years of experience in digital operations, product, analytics, or technical strategy, with a strong track record of driving measurable business outcomes.
- Demonstrated experience designing and deploying AI-powered or automated workflows in production, including systems that make decisions, integrate multiple data sources and APIs, and execute multi-step processes across tools and platforms.
- Strong understanding of agentic systems and modern AI architectures — LLM integrations (OpenAI, Anthropic), RAG, and API-driven workflows.
- Proven ability to manage and develop a team of direct reports in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment.
- Deep experience defining and managing KPIs tied to acquisition, engagement, retention, and revenue.
- Ability to translate ambiguous business problems into structured, scalable system designs and workflows.
- Excellent communication skills — comfortable presenting to client stakeholders and adapting technical complexity for executive audiences.
- Proven ability to operate with agility, creating structure and driving execution in environments with significant change.
- Financial services experience preferred.
- This role is not open to visa sponsorship or transfer of visa sponsorship including those on H1-B, F-1, OPT, STEM-OPT, or TN visa, nor is it available to work corp-to-corp.
