About the Role
Intel Foundry's Advanced Packaging Technology and Manufacturing (APTM) team is seeking a Data Science and Analytics Intern to analyze large-scale datasets, uncover patterns, and build models that drive manufacturing decisions and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Collect, analyze, and interpret large operational datasets
- Build data models, dashboards, and visualizations to support business decision-making
- Develop scalable data models to reduce manual metric gathering
- Translate business requirements into technical requirements for IT partnerships
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and engineers on data-driven projects
- Support data storytelling initiatives to communicate insights to stakeholders
- Present business impact of analytical work to senior leadership
- Build skills in a collaborative environment
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
- Academic coursework or project experience in data analysis and statistical methods
- Knowledge of SQL, Python, R, or similar programming languages
- Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI
- Experience in statistics and data modeling concepts
- Must be eligible to work in the US without Intel immigration sponsorship
