About the Role
The Human Resources Generalist plays a key role in supporting the operation of the Human Resources Department, reporting to the Director, Human Resources.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for all junior positions
- Manage the onboarding and off-boarding process for employees, ensuring all necessary documentation is accurately completed
- Serve as the first point of contact for internal employees, answering and assisting with any questions
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, ensuring all documents comply with legal and company standards
- Partner with Payroll to ensure employee information is up to date in the HRIS (Dayforce HCM)
- Provide accurate reports as needed
- Assist with all internal company communications by creating accurate communications
- Assist with various HR Projects, including engagement surveys, learning and development, and company events
- Undertake any other responsibilities assigned to support HR Operations
Requirements
- Bachelors degree and/or diploma in Human Resources or related field
- 2+ years of Human Resources experience as a Human Resources Assistant or Coordinator
- Knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and compliance regulations
- Highly detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate with all levels of stakeholders
- Ability to manage and maintain confidential information
- Knowledge of HR practices, including applicable employment legislation
