About the Role
As a Product Marketing Engineer, you will shape how we communicate the value of NI hardware and software products. You will collaborate with product management, R&D, and sales to understand customer pain points and craft compelling content that demonstrates how our technology solves real-world challenges.
Responsibilities
- Create videos, white papers, presentations, product demonstrations, and other web collateral to position and generate demand for NI’s products and technology.
- Collaborate with product management, technical & partner marketing, and sales to develop product positioning and articulate key messaging.
- Collaborate with technical and corporate marketing as a product expert to support NI’s go-to-market campaigns and bring new products and features to market.
- Manage new product releases and coordinate with cross-functional teams for successful rollouts.
- Develop strong understanding of the target buyer persona(s) including their needs, challenges, and decision drivers.
- Support pre-sales activities as an NI product expert.
- Support product centric sales training activities across direct and indirect channels.
- Gather and analyze customer feedback to improve product messaging and positioning.
- Monitor product and campaign performance metrics to assess marketing effectiveness.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, and/or Computer Engineering or equivalent.
- Basic understanding of data acquisition and instrumentation use-cases, including oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, and waveform generators.
- Only U.S. Persons (U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, or protected individuals as defined by 22 CFR §120) may be considered.
