About the Role
The Team Member is the core of the Caribou experience, responsible for creating day-making experiences through unparalleled guest service, making world-class hand-crafted beverages, and embodying the Purpose and Values of Caribou in every interaction.
Responsibilities
- Develop personal ongoing relationships with guests.
- Practice active listening and connection.
- Anticipate guest needs and proactively solve opportunities by demonstrating product knowledge and hospitality.
- Make enthusiastic and knowledgeable recommendations to delight guests.
- Create day-making experiences that spark a chain reaction of GOOD.
- Hand-craft beverages to order per Caribou standard operating procedures.
- Heat, prepare, and serve Caribou food offerings to Caribou standard operating procedures.
- Float between barista and guest service roles, fulfilling all team member responsibilities.
- Take guest orders and manage the cash drawer, following all cash handling policies.
- Maintain store appearance through cleanliness, sanitization, and organization standards.
- Actively think and act upon future team and guest needs.
- Differentiate between solvable problems and when to ask for leader support.
- Understand that the team is managing multiple priorities and willingly take direction from leaders.

Requirements
- Ability to work at least one of the following: early mornings, evenings, some holidays and/or weekends.
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- Seeing, hearing, speaking, reaching, lifting up to 50 pounds, sitting, standing for 4 to 8 hours, bending, and moving intermittently during working hours (with or without reasonable accommodations).
