About the Role

This entry-level rotational position is for STEM bachelor's graduates with limited experience but a strong desire to learn and contribute to the electronic technologies of tomorrow. The one-year program includes hands-on training in various aspects of silicon design and automation, preparing participants for full-time roles within the Customer Support Team.

Responsibilities

  • Provide front-line design services, technical sales, and customer support to advanced Cadence customers.
  • Collaborate with technical experts and support the sales team in a dynamic, innovative environment.
  • Work with best-in-class Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tools.
  • Develop innovative solutions to address customer's most challenging technical problems.
  • Participate in a cohort-based, one-year rotational program with hands-on training.
  • Gain experience in fundamentals of design, verification, HDLs, synthesis, timing, embedded software development, HW/SW codesign, co-verification, UNIX, C/C++, scripting languages (Perl, TCL, Python), digital physical design, sign-off for timing, IR drop, power analysis, SI analysis, and custom/analog design.
  • Network and participate in activities with the recent college grad community at Cadence.

Requirements

  • STEM bachelor’s degree graduates.
  • Experience using electronic design automation (EDA) tools.
  • Strong desire to learn and be a part of electronic technologies.
