About the Role
The Burger's Priest is seeking an Assistant General Manager for its downtown Toronto location. This role focuses on providing excellent service, leading a team, and managing restaurant operations in a positive and respectful work environment.
Responsibilities
- Train and coach the team to provide "ABSOLUTE" service
- Set clear expectations and follow up with the team regularly
- Take direction and feedback from the Senior Management team
- Open and close the restaurant independently as a key holder
- Reconcile cash deposits
- Place orders and perform inventory counts
- Address customer concerns to ensure guest satisfaction
- Attract, interview, and hire employees to build a strong team
- Understand food costing
- Accurately schedule employees while achieving labor targets
Requirements
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience leading a team
- Friendly and enthusiastic
- Passionate about food and providing excellent guest experiences
- Food Handler Certified or willing to certify
- Available for mixed shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Works well in a team setting but can complete tasks independently
- Ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced environment
- Organized and able to multi-task
- Strong attention to detail
