About the Role

The Global Investment Banking division is seeking an Analyst to join the Business Management team in New York City. This role involves conducting market share analysis, supporting strategic initiatives, preparing financial reports, and managing the Customer Relationship Management System.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct market share competitive analysis of industry sectors, markets and products and other ad-hoc analytics
  • Ongoing lead for various ad-hoc strategic initiatives and internal management meetings
  • Prepare and interpret strategic & financial reports
  • Create bi-weekly, monthly, yearly management packs
  • Lead business development and multi-year strategic planning
  • Assist in annual budgeting and planning process
  • Maintain weekly revenue and pipeline
  • Coordinate annual performance review process
  • Lead, develop, and administer Customer Relationship Management System for GIB
  • Assist with conference planning and donor applications
  • Coordinate deal files
  • Enforce audit/compliance matters

Requirements

  • BS in Finance/Accounting or related fields
  • 1-2 years of experience in a financial institution
  • Advanced proficiency with Outlook, Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, Power Point, Dealogic, Acrobat
  • Project management mind-set and approach
  • Knowledge of Investment Banking product set preferred (ECM, DCM, M&A Lev Fin)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
  • Comfort and confidence interacting with Senior Leaders and management
  • Extremely detail oriented and analytical
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication, written and interpersonal skills
