About the Role
The Credit Executive is responsible for administrative duties related to credit applications and activities according to departmental guidelines, under the direction of the Credit Manager. This role does not have credit authorization authority.
Responsibilities
- Enter patron information into the computer system and credit file.
- Scan credit documents when necessary.
- Handle internal and external inquiries for casino credit information.
- Present oneself in a neat and clean appearance at all times.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
- Demonstrate consistent regard and dedication to guests, vendors, colleagues and the Company by being engaged, interested and productive.
- Demonstrate a working knowledge of our marketplace; actively and collaboratively assist in building the best practices necessary for the Company’s success.
- Demonstrate an understanding of the impact actions and decisions have on the Company both financially and on guest relations.
- Demonstrate the initiative to present new ideas and perspective to create positive results.
- Exhibit respectful consideration of viewpoints, situations and others.
- Put the guest at the forefront of every decision.
- Effectively use Microsoft Office applications and other computer programs.
- Correspond effectively via email.
- Perform mathematical computations.
- Access and input information in the system, including setting up player’s cards and printing duplicate players cards.
- Remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time.
- Lift or maneuver at least fifteen (15) pounds.
- Read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as policy and procedure manuals and other related documents.
- Respond to common inquiries from other Team Members or guests.
- Write detailed instructions and correspondence.
- Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
- Compute complex mathematical calculations.
- Work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.
- Apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
- Decipher various reports and maintain reports upon request with strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Work well under pressure and deadlines.
- Interact with internal and external guests in a professional manner.
- Work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the property.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to obtain the appropriate license pursuant to the applicable statute, rules and regulations.
- Typing skills required.
- Basic computer knowledge required.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license through New York State and other regulatory requirements as dictated by governing authorities.
- Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time.
- Moderate physical ability such as lift or maneuver at least fifteen (15) pounds.
- Prolonged sitting during the shift.
- Fluency in English required.
