About the Role

Lead projects focused on national security, applying state-of-the-art AI approaches to dynamic, real-world problems for U.S. government and defense customers. Collaborate directly with customers and researchers, potentially participating in live field tests.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive project management for artificial intelligence and computer vision projects tailored for U.S. government and defense customers.
  • Translate cutting-edge AI research into executable project roadmaps in partnership with a Principal Investigator.
  • Guide a team of researchers and developers to deliver complex technical milestones.
  • Manage technical communication with government stakeholders, including status reports, technical briefings, and progress reviews.
  • Participate in business development, contributing technical execution strategies to proposals and presentations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a STEM field (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Math, or a related technical discipline preferred).
  • 5+ years of technical project management experience.
  • Proven track record of managing U.S. Government contracts (DARPA, IARPA, DoD, or IC preferred).
  • Strong understanding of machine learning concepts (model selection, training, validation, testing, and deployment).
  • Hands-on programming experience in Python or C++.
  • Direct experience writing and contributing to successful government technical proposals.
  • Active TS or TS/SCI security clearance (or a recent TS eligible for immediate reactivation).
  • Only U.S. citizens will be considered for this position due to contractual requirements.
