About the Role
Provides general administrative support for the Purchasing & Estimating department, assists in maintaining costing and sales pricing information, and aids in the development of housing budgets. Performs routine assigned tasks using basic office skills under supervisor direction.
Responsibilities
- Provides general administrative support for the costing department, including routine processing of correspondence, data entry, and preparation/maintenance of reports and vendor files.
- Assists the costing team in verifying and compiling reporting and analysis.
- Processes start orders, change orders, supplier assignment changes, and updates Purchase Orders.
- Reconciles invoices and researches past due statements.
- Performs additional assignments as requested by supervisor.
Requirements
- High school graduate with basic academic and practical skills.
- At least one year of related work experience and/or training.
- General knowledge of administrative skills and office functions.
Skills
- General office and administrative skills to assist in processing departmental workflow.
- Customer service oriented with a professional and courteous attitude.
- Good verbal and written communication skills for interaction with a variety of people.
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
- Good working knowledge of word processing, estimating, and spreadsheet software packages.
