About the Role

Apollo Applied Research is a virtual medical clinic dedicated to providing accessible medical cannabis treatment for chronic health conditions. We focus on an evidence-based approach to empower patients and offer effective treatments for pain, anxiety, sleep disorders, PTSD, and more. Our team of experienced healthcare professionals is committed to patient care and education, constantly seeking innovative ways to improve patient outcomes across Canada.

Responsibilities

  • Address patient questions and concerns while gathering detailed patient history to offer better recommendations and treatment plans.
  • Educate patients on their medicinal cannabis prescriptions, including usage and ordering, via digital platforms and phone.
  • Maintain and evolve messaging and knowledge standards in collaboration with the Patient Care Team.
  • Provide compassionate, empathetic, and understanding care to patients.
  • Communicate directly, strongly, and confidently.
  • Coordinate with the Booking team to ensure a simple, accessible, and customer-friendly patient journey.
  • Ensure follow-up for upholding specific standards for messaging and protocols.
  • Maintain accurate notes regarding ordering and patient interaction.
  • Execute the development of education and patient ordering processes.
  • Collaborate and integrate objections and ideas from team members and management.
  • Facilitate the booking process for scheduling all follow-up appointments.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bilingual in English and French with strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be meticulous, initiative-taking, and able to foster a positive work environment.
  • Utilize strong analytical and thought leadership skills.
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment with openness to innovative ideas.
