About the Role

The Senior Marketing Business Operations Manager will drive operations, execution, and follow-through for Marketing Leadership. This role ensures the leadership team is organized, high-performing, and focused on growth drivers and brand strategy. You will act as the connective tissue across the department, ensuring clear communication and execution of decisions. Reporting to the SVP of Marketing, you will manage internal initiatives and cross-functional projects, optimizing leadership time and keeping the organization on track.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Marketing Leadership to drive team initiatives, including planning cycles, offsites, and strategic cross-functional projects.
  • Translate executive vision into actionable plans and guide the broader team on operational needs.
  • Develop and support the execution of strategic programs, including managing leadership meetings, program-managing key decisions, and maintaining ownership of departmental priorities.
  • Act as a force multiplier for the SVP by ensuring alignment, communication, and accountability across all marketing workstreams.
  • Chair weekly Marketing Leadership Team (MLT) meetings, manage agendas, capture action items, and cascade communications to the wider organization.
  • Organize and facilitate quarterly leadership offsites and annual planning sessions.
  • Identify opportunities to improve departmental performance and champion marketing-wide organizational health initiatives.
  • Lead high-impact special projects for the SVP, such as MarTech stack audits, agency evaluations, or cross-functional GTM alignment.
  • Represent the SVP in internal meetings to maintain project momentum and represent leadership priorities.
  • Collaborate with Communications/PR teams to draft high-level communications on behalf of the SVP.
  • Work closely with the Executive Assistant to ensure the SVP’s time is aligned with critical business priorities and meetings are staffed appropriately.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in an operations, chief of staff, or senior project management role within a marketing or high-growth business environment.
  • Ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder workstreams with a high degree of organization.
  • Highly effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to distill complex strategy into clear "marching orders."
  • A proactive mindset with the ability to anticipate roadblocks.
  • Trustworthy, with the ability to handle sensitive departmental information and exercise good judgment.
