About the Role

The Accounts Payable Analyst and General Cashier is responsible for processing vendor invoices, verifying approvals, coding expenses, and ensuring timely and accurate payments. This role also manages daily cashiering operations, including counting and balancing cash, preparing bank deposits, and reconciling house banks.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring timely and accurate payments in compliance with hotel and Accor financial policies.
  • Managing daily cashiering operations, including counting and balancing cash.
  • Preparing bank deposits and reconciling house banks.
  • Monitoring cash variances.
  • Maintaining vendor files.
  • Resolving invoice and payment discrepancies.
  • Supporting month-end closing activities.
  • Preparing account reconciliations and financial reports.
  • Collaborating with Operations teams.
  • Responding to internal and external inquiries professionally.
  • Supporting internal controls and audit requirements to safeguard hotel assets.

Requirements

  • Strong foundation in Finance and Accounting.
  • Experience in accounts payable processes and general ledger entries.
  • Demonstrated Analytical Skills.
  • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, including identifying and resolving discrepancies.
  • Effective Communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate across departments.
  • Ability to interact professionally with vendors and colleagues.
  • Proficiency with spreadsheets and accounting or property management systems.
  • High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and integrity in handling cash and financial data.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work on-site in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
