About the Role
The Chief People Officer (CPO) will be a key player on the leadership team, shaping a high-performing, inclusive, healthy, and resilient organization. This role provides strategic leadership for all aspects of the AGO’s people and culture agenda, enabling the museum's mission, vision, and values.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership for all aspects of the AGO’s people and culture agenda.
- Oversee labour relations, talent management, organizational design, learning and development, performance management, employee engagement, equity and inclusion, reconciliation, workforce planning, compensation and benefits, health and wellness, HR systems, and organizational culture.
- Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to the entire leadership team.
- Shape a high-performing, inclusive, healthy, and resilient organization through people strategies and systems.
Requirements
- Senior leadership experience.
- Proven track record of success in a complex, multi-stakeholder organization.
- Passion for the AGO’s mission.
- Desire to make a positive impact across the organization’s 650 team members and hundreds of volunteers.
- Strategic vision, operational acumen, pragmatism, and emotional intelligence.
