About the Role
Cushman & Wakefield is seeking an engaging, professional, and service-driven Welcome Host to join the team at Dixon House, a modern office building located close to Fenchurch Street in the City of London. As the face of the building, you will play a vital role in creating an exceptional workplace experience for occupiers, visitors, and guests. This role is ideal for someone passionate about hospitality, customer service, and community engagement, thriving in a professional, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver a professional, friendly, and personalized welcome to all occupiers, visitors, and guests.
- Create exceptional first impressions and provide a consistently high standard of customer service.
- Assist with enquiries, directions, and access requirements.
- Build strong relationships with occupiers and visitors, ensuring a positive and memorable experience.
- Develop knowledge of the building and local area to confidently support occupier and guest needs.
- Manage incoming calls, emails, and reception enquiries promptly and professionally.
- Ensure the reception desk is staffed and presented to the highest standards at all times.
- Receive and manage post and courier deliveries as required.
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and administrative documentation.
- Support building communication platforms and occupier information updates.
- Liaise with contractors, service providers, and building management teams regarding ongoing works and operational matters.
- Report building faults and maintenance issues through the appropriate channels.
- Support Health & Safety, security, and visitor management procedures.
- Ensure all visitors are signed in and comply with building access protocols.
- Escalate incidents, concerns, or unusual activity to the relevant teams promptly.
- Support the planning and delivery of occupier events and engagement activities.
- Promote building initiatives and community programmes.
- Assist with social media and building communication updates where required.
- Contribute to creating a welcoming, vibrant, and inclusive workplace environment.
Requirements
- Fluent English, both written and verbal.
- Previous experience in a Front of House, Reception, Hospitality, or Customer Service role.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience working within a corporate office, workplace experience, or premium hospitality environment.
- Experience handling challenging situations and resolving issues with professionalism and confidence.
- Knowledge of visitor management systems and building operations.
