About the Role

Performance Contracting Group is seeking skilled carpentry professionals to join our employee-owned company. We offer quality services to commercial, industrial, and non-residential construction markets, valuing training, professional development, safety, and inclusiveness. Responsibilities

• Perform skilled carpentry work in construction, installation, maintenance, fabrication, and repair of wooden structures and fixtures.
• Work with architectural woodwork, millwork, trim, concrete forms, metal and wood framing, drywall, and acoustical ceilings.
• Cut, shape, and smooth lumber and other materials according to measurements.
• Review blueprints or specifications to determine work requirements.
• Complete assigned carpentry tasks with quality workmanship.
• Operate a variety of power and manual tools and equipment used in skilled carpentry.
• Perform heavy physical labor.
• Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment.
• Perform all job duties and associated work functions in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
• Follow instructions from supervisors and foremen.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of previous experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Able to withstand prolonged periods standing and working outside.
• Physically able to perform assigned tasks.
• Must be able to lift 40 pounds at a time.
