Performance Contracting Group is seeking skilled carpentry professionals to join our employee-owned company. Responsibilities
- Perform skilled carpentry work in construction, installation, maintenance, fabrication, and repair of wooden structures and fixtures.
- Work with architectural woodwork, millwork, trim, concrete forms, metal and wood framing, drywall, and acoustical ceilings.
- Cut, shape, and smooth lumber and other materials according to measurements.
- Review blueprints or specifications to determine work requirements.
- Complete assigned carpentry tasks with quality workmanship.
- Operate a variety of power and manual tools and equipment used in skilled carpentry.
- Perform heavy physical labor.
- Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment.
- Perform all job duties and associated work functions in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and foremen.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of previous experience.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to perform basic math.
- Able to withstand prolonged periods standing and working outside.
- Physically able to perform assigned tasks.
- Must be able to lift 40 pounds at a time.
