About the Role
Conduct advanced economic and trade research, analyze global economic indicators and policy developments, and develop forecasts and risk assessments to support business development and client engagements.
Responsibilities
- Conduct advanced economic and trade research related to international markets, industries, and policy developments.
- Analyze macroeconomic indicators, trade flows, tariffs, sanctions, and regulatory changes affecting global commerce.
- Develop economic forecasts, market outlooks, and risk assessments.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and client-facing deliverables.
- Monitor global economic developments and identify emerging opportunities and risks.
- Support business development efforts through thought leadership and market intelligence.
- Present findings to clients, stakeholders, and senior management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on consulting engagements.
Requirements
- 5–10+ years of experience in economic analysis, trade consulting, economic research, government, international organizations, or related sectors.
- Strong understanding of international trade policy, global markets, and economic forecasting.
- Advanced quantitative and analytical skills.
- Experience with statistical and analytical software such as R, Python, Stata, EViews, SAS, or similar tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to produce high-quality research and client-facing reports.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
