About the Role
The individual will play an integral role in the transportation structured products business in the U.S., investing DB’s capital by underwriting, structuring, and distributing collateralized lending and cash flow financing solutions. The team also structures and distributes asset-backed securities for transportation and advises on equity transactions involving transportation assets, offering dual exposure to secured private credit structuring and origination, and structured credit investment banking.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate regularly with more senior team members in the origination and execution of new transactions (both capital markets and lending facilities).
- Help in drafting underwriting memos for credit, sales, syndicate, for lending commitments and new ABS transactions.
- Assist in the modelling and structuring process.
- Assist in all aspects of transaction execution management from mandate to close on capital markets and well as lending transactions.
- Communicate actively with internal constituencies regarding transaction/project management.
- Stay informed of key trends related to asset classes covered by the team as well as client specific dynamics that could impact the business.
- Work on ad hoc projects as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics or related field.
- Proven experience of structured finance experience at an investment bank or investor.
- ABS or corporate finance experience is a plus.
- Exceptional analytical, quantitative and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and detailed oriented.
- Flexibility to handle multiple tasks and change priorities.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrate ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Legally eligible to work in the United States.
