About the Role
Support USPACOM to accelerate the adoption of modern AI platforms and automation tools across exercise planning and divisional management. Understand high-level pain points and translate emerging AI and automation capabilities into practical, day-to-day workflow improvements for faster, smarter exercise planning and more efficient division management through responsible, hands-on AI adoption.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the division's primary advisor and enabler for AI platform adoption, translating complex operational needs into practical, AI-supported workflows.
- Identify high-value opportunities where Generative AI, large language models, and automation tools can reduce manual effort in exercise planning, scenario development, documentation, and data gathering.
- Evaluate, pilot, and recommend commercial and government AI platforms and automation tools, assessing fit, security posture, and ease of adoption for non-technical users.
- Build and deliver hands-on training, demonstrations, and reference materials that help planners and division staff confidently use AI tools in their daily work.
- Develop lightweight automations, prompt workflows, and integrations that connect existing data sources and tools to streamline planning and reporting.
- Partner with stakeholders at all levels to gather requirements, manage change, and drive measurable adoption across the division.
- Establish best practices and guardrails for responsible, secure AI use, ensuring alignment with organizational and cybersecurity policies.
- Track and report adoption metrics and efficiency gains to division leadership to inform continued investment.
