About the Role
Join the Community Data Team to build and iterate on applied machine learning models that directly impact how millions of users discover and interact with deals. You will perform complex statistical analyses, define key metrics, and shape the intelligence behind our community-driven shopping platform.
Responsibilities
- Build and iterate ML models including churn prediction, sentiment analysis, and member segmentation using Python.
- Analyze complex member behaviors such as retention cohorts, engagement velocity, and viral loops to drive community growth.
- Translate ambiguous business questions into measurable and actionable data projects.
- Write high-performance SQL queries in ClickHouse to process large-scale interaction data.
Requirements
- Solid Python programming skills with core data science libraries like Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-learn.
- Sound understanding of machine learning and statistics fundamentals including model validation and overfitting.
- Proficiency in SQL including CTEs and window functions.
- Experience with at least one self-built, end-to-end project on an open-ended problem.
- Ability to investigate web and app event data.
