About the Role

This role is for a Head of Liquidity Management & Cash Management & Finance with professional experience in real estate development, for a family-run company based in Berlin with approximately 70 employees, primarily active in property rental and management, as well as other sectors. The position offers a salary of up to €110,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. This is a full-time, permanent position filled through direct recruitment, offering long-term employment.

Responsibilities

Assume overall commercial responsibility for affiliated companies and serve as the primary contact for finances and cash flows within the group.
Plan and manage liquidity, allocate financial resources for affiliated companies, and monitor bank accounts.
Manage the significant cash flows of the corporate group.
Prepare and negotiate financing agreements with banks, including two annual review meetings.
Prepare monthly and annual financial statements for external tax advisors and actively participate in ongoing financial accounting.
Monitor rental income.
Lead and develop a team of eight employees.
Act as a competent contact and sparring partner for management and managing directors of affiliated companies.
Grow into additional responsibilities over time, with the potential to assume management roles in subsidiary or property companies after successful onboarding.

Requirements

Minimum of five years of professional experience in a comparable position, such as Treasurer.
Professional experience in the real estate industry.
Good understanding of accounting, including practical experience with financial statement preparation and ongoing financial accounting.
Good understanding of contract management or ideally practical experience in this area.
Legal understanding and knowledge of real estate law are a plus.
Excellent German language skills, both written and spoken.
Extreme reliability and discretion are essential due to the responsibilities involved.
