About the Role

The Senior Applied AI Engineer will play a pivotal role in defining how AI agents navigate the web. This individual will focus on building open-source frameworks and high-impact demos, while simultaneously refining the developer experience to ensure the platform remains indispensable for AI engineers.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain open-source tools and libraries that simplify the integration of AI agents with browser environments.
  • Design and implement evaluation frameworks to measure the reliability and efficiency of browser-based AI tasks.
  • Move fluidly between frontend, backend, and model integration to ship full-stack features end-to-end.
  • Produce high-quality technical documentation and posts that unpack complex engineering challenges and learnings.
  • Act as a technical partner for early adopters to ensure successful implementation of the platform's infrastructure.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience writing high-quality, production-grade code.
  • A heavy user of AI agents within a day-to-day coding environment.
  • Proven experience shipping product features from design through to model integration.
  • A strong interest in developer tooling and clear opinions on developer ergonomics and API design.
  • Exceptional technical writing skills and the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly.
  • Strong intuition for product-market fit and the ability to prioritize features that drive developer value.
  • The ability to thrive in a self-directed, highly autonomous work environment.
