About the Role
GLG is seeking a Software Support Engineer to join their Product Engineering team. This role will focus on improving and maintaining the software that matches companies with experts, ensuring the continuous operation and reliability of critical systems, and resolving technical issues.
Responsibilities
- Help ensure the continuous operation and reliability of GLG's critical systems.
- Interface with Engineering and Helpdesk to triage and resolve system issues.
- Diagnose and resolve issues when identified.
- Communicate resolutions to stakeholders and explain technical solutions to non-technical people.
Requirements
- A degree in computer science (or related engineering degree), or demonstrable equivalent technical proficiency is required.
- A growth mindset, and an eagerness to learn new languages and technologies used across GLG including JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, and SQL.
- Experience using Claude, Copilot, Opencode and other AI Toolsets.
- A strong interest in problem solving and collaboration.
- The ability to investigate and diagnose system problems.
- The ability to effectively communicate between audiences of differing technical skill levels.
