About the Role
At Bond, we design creative and innovative solutions for clients to build stronger brand loyalty. As a Project Accountant, you will contribute to Bond's success by delivering finance needs at a project level in a fast-paced environment alongside talented people.
Responsibilities
- Partner with project teams to create accurate and updated project information in the ERP financial system (NetSuite).
- Provide guidance and support to project teams on financial processes, including Project Setup, PCA/PCN, Closing of Projects, Invoicing, and Credit Memo’s.
- Provide support to Financial Business Analysts.
- Support teams and projects in reaching financial goals by identifying, quantifying, and communicating financial risks and opportunities.
- Follow and implement proper controls and act as a point of contact for any internal or external financial audits.
- Drive continuous improvement across the organization by remaining a proponent for change.
- Manage Chargebacks.
- Process NL JE and Reconciliation.
- Process Labour WIP JE (Quarterly/YE for FX) and Reconciliation.
- Process Unbilled and Deferred JE and Reconciliation.
- Pull ME Reports on Day 2.
- Manage PA Exception Report (Rev Recognition Prep) – Bi-weekly preferred, monthly during ME before Rev Recognition.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of financial/data analysis experience.
- Working knowledge of accounting including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and tax.
- Effective communication (oral and written), presentation, organization, and interpersonal skills.
- High level of professionalism with ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and a love for learning and contributing within a fun team environment.
- Excellent interpersonal, planning, organization, and professional communication skills (written and verbal).
Skills
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Experience with Mass Data, Pivot Tables, V-Look Ups, X-Look Ups, Index Match, and other excel functions
- Proficiency with NetSuite and/or other ERP financial system
