About the Role
The Inventory Associate will be responsible for all activities relating to inventory management and control in our main distribution center.
Responsibilities
- Perform inventory cycle counts.
- Handle special inventory projects.
- Minimize material 'can't finds' and ensure inventory accuracy and integrity.
- Work directly with the Inventory Supervisor.
Requirements
- Ability to use NEFCO’s ERP software system.
- Basic computer skills.
- Must have a positive, hard-working attitude.
- Ability to establish priorities and work independently with little supervision.
- Ability to multitask.
- Ability to stand on concrete floors for long periods.
- Ability to work in various climate conditions (cold, heat, humidity) for extended periods.
- Ability to crouch, stoop, kneel, crawl, and twist for lifting.
- Ability to safely lift up to 70 lbs.
- Ability to review and interpret computer images and written documents.
- Analytical ability including basic math skills.
- This is a non-exempt position, eligible for overtime.
Skills
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, or Outlook is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills.
