About the Role

Lead the coordination of commercial pump product manufacturing, supporting production plans and goals. Drive operational efficiency, continuous improvement, and adherence to quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate the effective and efficient use of all pump manufacturing equipment, tools, and personnel.
  • Oversee and coordinate equipment maintenance and repairs.
  • Train employees on pump manufacturing processes and recommend further training.
  • Train employees to build quality pumps according to procedures and in a timely manner.
  • Participate in and enforce all Health and Safety Procedures and Policies.
  • Make recommendations, participate in, and lead continuous improvement projects.
  • Make recommendations on staffing, disciplinary actions, and employee achievements.
  • Empower and engage employees to create a teamwork environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3-years' Pump Manufacturing experience is desired.
  • Proficiency with computer software, including Excel and Windows Explorer.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment with a practiced and implemented safety and lean culture.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment, particularly in reading work orders and technical documents.
  • Familiarity with quality control and assurance practices, including completing inspection check sheets and raising non-conformance tickets.
  • Ability to break down complex problems, conduct root cause analysis, and provide clear solutions.
  • Strong, team-oriented leadership skills with presence and a bias for action.
  • Self-directed with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively with a focus on results.
  • Ability to communicate openly and authentically in all situations.
