About the Role

Seeking an individual to join the Southeast Mid-Market team of experienced Underwriters, passionate about customers. Drive decisions and actions with the goal of providing innovative and creative propositions that cater to customer needs. Aim to surpass all expectations and deliver the highest quality service.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and underwrite existing business, including renewals and mid-term adjustments.
• Provide innovative and creative propositions to suit customer needs.
• Exceed customer expectations by delivering the highest quality service.
• Communicate and build meaningful relationships with distribution partners.
• Take ownership of workload and support colleagues to deliver collective workload.
• Interact with brokers and intermediaries daily.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Ensure profitable risks are taken in line with company strategy.
• Deliver quality and timely solutions for customers.
• Be a team player and contribute to a standout service experience.

Requirements

• Willingness to learn, develop, and be part of a team.
• Underwriting experience (especially with Property and Casualty and REI) is a plus, but not required, as we are open to considering candidates with transferable skills and a strong willingness to learn.
